This visualizer served as an application of what I had learned in calculus, linear algebra, and differential equations at UC Berkeley. The Tracer makes use of discrete Fourier transforms to trace an arbitrary image inputted by the user. Discrete Fourier transforms have many applications in computer science and mathematics, especially digital signal processing and Fourier analysis.
